Quick recap: when Deb and I were in Myrtle Beach in May, I bought a pair of pants at Burlington Brands at the outlet mall. They failed two weeks after I bought them. They ripped across the seam, not along it, a seeming defect. So I notified them of the situation by e-mail, to see if I had any recourse (there are no Burlington Brands stores anywhere around here).
Three e-mails later (the last one being pretty nasty) and a month later, still no response. It’s almost as if they don’t care that they have a customer satisfaction issue, although a visit to their website will show that customer satisfaction is the utmost to them.
So if you visit the outlets and you see a Burlington Brands outlet, just keep walking. You won’t be happy with your purchase, and they won’t care.
