Last year was a great year for Federal League football. The league sent four teams to the state playoffs…Boardman, Lake, Glenoak, and Hoover. Hoover is coming off an 8-2 regular season record, with losses to Division II state runner-up Louisville and playoff qualifier Glenoak (the Vikings only lost 8-7 in that game). They also beat Toledo St. John’s and Nordonia in the playoffs before losing in the regional title game to Brunswick.
