Deb Update 4/30/08
April 30, 2008
Today saw Deb back at the Cleveland Clinic medical offices in Strongsville for her one-year post-operative follow-up with Dr. Robert Molloy. The report was all good.
First of all, the revised hip joint looks good. Everything is progressing as it should at this point.
Second, the bone graft done on her pelvis looks good and has grown in well.
Thirdly, the ischial nerve has regenerated to the point where it is no longer necessary for her to wear the braces she has worn for the last year…which means she can give up wearing the wide generic tennis shoes. Now she can wear “all those cute shoes” she couldn’t wear last summer. That, plus no lugging braces to Myrtle, er, North Myrtle next month.
So I guess we can finally call it a full recovery from last year’s surgery.

Pat, I am glad to hear your wife is doing so well. Wish I could say the same for mine. Yoosh!

Hopefully she (Terri) will be able to recover too, Sir. Her issue is with her back as I recall, right ?

We have nothing but good things to say about him. He is probably the most personable doctor I have ever met. Not just his bedside manner, but also just his general demeanor. He is a younger man, so he has the latest training.
I would recommend Robert Molloy without reservation to anyone contemplating any kind of orthopaedic surgery. And Tom, if you decide to go with him, tell him the guy that baked him the apple pie sent you.
