Appalachian State won its semifinal game last night over Richmond 55-35. The Mountaineers, who surprised the sports world early in this football season by beating Michigan at Ann Arbor, await the winner of this afternoon’s Delaware-Southern Illinois game.
Amanti Edwards is a machine ! The Mountaineers’ quarterback rushed for 313 yards and four touchdowns last night…and threw for three more TGs and 182 yards. The 313 yards rushing is a Division 1-AA record by a quarterback, but 18 yards short of the overall FCS playoff record.
